Donna has been a Quality Management Nurse Consultant for Aetna for the Michigan and Louisiana plans conducting  HEDIS and Medical Record Review audits.  She was the Clinical HEDIS Nurse Manager at HAP Midwest.  She was also a Clinical Nurse Auditor for inVentiv Medical Management. She has her BSN and MS degrees, She also obtained the CPHM, CPC, COC, and Paralegal certifications. Donna was a practicing nurse and Nurse Manager of the Intensive Care and Coronary Care Units. She was also a practicing nurse on the Medical/Surgical units. Donna had 20 years of experience as a Senior Professional Utilization Review Auditor for BCBSM. She developed and wrote comprehensive training packages for new auditors. She also coordinated and planned numerous training classes for coworkers at BCBSM. Donna served as a mentor and trainer for 15 years. She has been a member of MAHA for 14 years and a board member on the education committee since 2011.
