Debbie has been a member of MAHA since 2005. She has 20 years of clinical ICU experience with Ascension Health Providence. In 2004 she transitioned to an internal auditing position where she performed concurrent and defense audits. She also trained in Interventional Radiology and Cardiology charging and coding where she became a system-wide trainer for Ascension interventional departments locally. In 2008, Debbie was recruited away from her Ascension family to take a Charge Description Master (CDM) charge capture position with R1RCM. Here she performed CDM reviews to identify opportunity and risk for their clients until she was promoted to a Sr. CDM Manager position with oversight of 6 different health systems. In 2017 Debbie joined Trinity Health and is currently a Revenue Management Consultant working on charge capture opportunities for the Revenue Excellence Team. She works closely with Corporate Regulatory and Compliance and Revenue Integrity teams for Trinity.

Debbie and her husband Bob recently moved to Pinckney, MI to enjoy golf in their backyard. They have 3 adult children, Brooke, Julia and Adam and a beautiful granddaughter named Avery Mae and new grandson named Fisher.
